Source to Sea
Two members of the kayak the Nile team Peter Meredith and Hendri Coetzee, were part of a five man team to complete the first ever full descent of the Nile Source to Sea. The 6400km journey took them through ferocious rapids, The Sud desert, War Zones and dangerous wildlife on the river. The expedition can be viewed later in the year as part of a documentary series on National Geographic.

Pete and Hendri are currently away again with another member of the Kayak the Nile team Paulo Babi.

They are exploring what is deemed to be the true Source of the Nile. The river starts in Rwanda and flows through national parks that have not been explored for over 25 years. On completion there can be no dispute, this will be the first ever team to complete the Nile. One for the history book.

Up and coming

October 2006
A team from Kayak the Nile will be heading up to Ethiopia to do a recce on the spectacular Blue Nile. If all goes well hopefully we can start running trips and open up this spectacular river.
