This course is aimed at those who either compete, or want to perfect those more technical moves. The course run by proffessional kayakers, will ensure that you receive the most up to date and spectacular Arial training. The course is aimed at paddlers who have reached a plateau in their freestyle kayaking. Our spectacular coaching teamed with the amazing freestyle Mecca of The Nile River will make sure that your boating is right back on track.

People at home will wonder how you learned so fast and will look in awe as you throw down amazing runs on your home wave.

Pre requisites
Paddlers should be confident rolling on class 3/4 water. And have at least 20 river days on class 3/ 4 water.  In addition they must have completed either our beginners freestyle course. What’s Included?
                                                                                                             Accommodation
Dormitory style accommodation is provided for the duration of your course. Based at the Hairy Lemon. This is one of the most spectacular settings in Africa. The bar and restaurant always have a friendly party atmosphere. You can upgrade your accommodation to private bandas or high class safari tents at a surcharge.

Food
Breakfast, Lunch and dinner will be provided for the course duration in either buffet style or from the bar menu.

Guiding and coaching
We at Kayak the Nile strive to achieve the highest standards. For this reason we only employ the highest calibre of kayaking coaches. All our instructors paddle professionally and are qualified to the equivalent of a B.C.U. level 4 coach. All our staff have at least 3 years experience on this river and 10 years coaching experience world wide.

Equipment
We have a fleet of playboats of various sizes and shapes. All equipment is provided for the course but if you wish to bring your own that is no problem.

Transport
All transport to and from the river/ river shuttles and airport transfers are included.

What to bring
The climate here in Uganda is perfect we have a mean average of around 25 degrees C, so during the day shorts and t-shirt. In the evenings due to the presence of mosquitoes it is best to cover up.

Mosquito repellent is available out here as well as most camera films.

Medical
Please ensure that you come with valid travel and medical insurance. We can arrange evacuation insurance if required.
