Introduction to the Nile River
Day 1. You will be met at Entebbe Airport by a kayakthenile.com representative who will transfer you out to Bujagali Falls, Jinja. This interesting 3 hour journey is in the comfort of our private kayak shuttle vehicle. On arrival you will be checked-in to your dormitory accommodation. In the evening your guide will meet you and give you an insight into what lies ahead over the next few days.
Day2. After breakfast you will join your guide for the day. He will accompany you down the Day 1-Section of the river, as far as Itanda falls. He is an expert, and will brief you on all of the rapids- which sections to avoid - which channels are best to run on each section. At the end of the day our van will meet you , with cold beers and soft drinks, and transfer you back to Bujagali Falls, to your accommodation.
Day 3. After breakfast we load up the vehicles and drive down to the start of the Day 2- Section. Your guide will then lead you down through this stunning section of water, pointing out, and playing on, all of the awesome waves. Once again our own vehicle will meet us with cold beers and soft drinks and transfer us back to Bujagali.

Dormitory accommodation for three nights. Upgrades are available at a surcharge.

In view of the number of skilled, independent kayakers visiting on a budget, we are now offering a new Introduction to the Nile Package. This arrangement provides the opportunity, initially, to discover all the sections of the Nile River, while under the expert guidance of one of our proffessionals. Thereafter, you will be ‘on your own’, but Kayak the Nile staff will be available to help and advise throughout your stay. This allows you to discover the Nile in the safest and easiest way, and improves familiarisation.
