Mass Float
On May 1st, 2025, we hosted the inaugural Kayak the Nile Canoe Club – Mass Float Fundraiser, and it was a tremendous success!

The event raised vital funds for the Kayak the Nile Canoe Club, increased awareness of our mission, and gave our Club members the incredible opportunity to practice and engage with participants. As part of our Corporate Social Responsibility initiative, the day highlighted our commitment to empowering local girls through kayaking—offering them unforgettable experiences, valuable life skills, and potential pathways to employment in the sport.

Led by the Junior members of the Canoe Club, the float began at Bungee Uganda and finished at the Nile River Explorers Campsite, where guests enjoyed food, drinks, music, games, and a vibrant atmosphere. Spectators cheered on exciting competitions featuring our Club members, cheered on by a supportive crowd of families, friends, and corporate teams.

We’re thrilled to announce that the Mass Float Fundraiser will return next year, both on Labour Day (May 1st) and again on January 25th as part of the Nile River Festival. Mark your calendars—it’s only going to get bigger and better!
