School Group Sessions
Bring your students to Bujagali for a day of paddling, adventure and new experiences on the White Nile.
Kayak the Nile has been introducing people to the river since 2005. Our school programmes combine professional instruction, experienced guides and carefully chosen activities to create memorable experiences that are fun, active and suitable for a wide range of ages and abilities.

School Kayaking Session
Two hours on the Nile
Our standard school session is an easy introduction to kayaking and paddlesports, designed for students with little or no previous experience.
Based from our office at Explorers River Camp in Bujagali, students paddle on a calm section of the Nile with our experienced guides. The session combines basic instruction, games and exploration, giving students plenty of time on the water without making the experience overly technical.

Bujagali Adventure Day
A full day of activities in Bujagali
If you want more than a kayaking trip, we can organise a full day of activities combining paddlesports, adventure and time outdoors.
Our standard Adventure Day combines three activities:
Kayaking
Approximately 2 hours
Start on the calm waters of the Nile with an experienced KTN guide. Students learn the basics of kayaking, develop boat control and take part in games and challenges while exploring the river around Bujagali.
Guided Cycling
Approximately 1 hour
Get off the water and explore the area by bicycle. Students ride together with a local guide, experiencing more of Bujagali and the surrounding area.
Bujagali Water Slide
Approximately 1 hour
Finish with some fun at the Bujagali Water Slide, with students supervised throughout the activity.

The programme is designed to give students a varied day, with a mix of water-based adventure, cycling and fun.
For larger groups, we organise the day around smaller activity groups and rotations so that students spend less time waiting and more time participating.

The Adventure Day can also be adapted around your school's group size, age range, interests and available time. We can help build a programme using other activities and local experiences available in Bujagali.
Add a Coffee Experience
From the Nile to the Coffee Cup
Add a local coffee experience to either school programme.
Students get an introduction to Ugandan coffee and the journey from coffee plant to cup, with an opportunity to learn about local coffee production and experience something different from the usual school trip.

Our guides are experienced paddlers and instructors who understand
how to work with young people and mixed-ability groups.
Safety comes first
Students use appropriate equipment and are supervised
throughout their activities. Programmes are adapted to the age,
ability and experience of the group, as well as the conditions on the day.
One organiser, multiple activities
Rather than your teachers having to coordinate several different
operators, Kayak the Nile can organise the activity programme for you.
We can build the schedule, coordinate the different activities and help make sure the day runs smoothly from arrival to departure.
